Sketch… again!

I’ve been coding a lot so I decided to take a little break and do something different. Well, I added some elements to my “sketch” to make it look more… uhmm, realistic?

As I’m writing this, I’m listening to Hysteria by Def Leppard… Long live the 80s!

FML

For the last few days I’ve been in a messed up mental state… things that I should be able to do in the snap of a finger end up taking me hours to complete… I have no idea what to shoot photos of… I end up dwelling on things that I easily brush off… It’s like my brain either doesn’t want to think at all or it gets a case of analysis paralysis… Oh, but don’t mention video games to me ’cause then I turn my PS3 on and I get a friggin’ smile on my face… GEEZ!

Also, as you probably noticed, now I’m watermarking my photos. I don’t like watermarking them, but it seems some of my pictures have become a bit “popular” and people are downloading them; I don’t mind that, but I don’t want them to end up being published on someone else’s blog… that would make me very unhappy.

duh…

Sketched

I was bored so I wanted to “experiment” on one of my photos… so, I took one of my selfies and did some photoshopping on it.

It does kind of look like a sketch, doesn’t it? The “pencil strokes” on the eyes and eyebrows look pretty nice.

Spasskaya Tower

I’ve decided that this is gonna be the last picture of my trip to Russia… I mean, for now. I just need to rescan them because, although I scanned them at 300 dpi, they came out too darn noisy and I don’t like that. I can do better. *sigh*

Spasskaya Tower

St. Basil’s Cathedral

For the last few days I haven’t been able to shoot pictures, so I decided to scan some of the photos I shot on the trip to Russia I made 10 years ago and share them with you.

I’m not too happy with the quality of the scans, but since I scanned them at my office (my scanner is a bit old and its software is not compatible with Snow Leopard), they will have to do… for now.

Here are the first two.

I shot this photo from the window of my hotel room.
