Ron Zacapa Centenario

My favorite rum. This is one of the best rums in the world; the Beverage Tasting Institute in Chicago gave it a rating of 95 points: Exceptional. You can read some reviews and opinions about the 23 year old rum; the bottle in the photo is of a 25 year old rum.

Now, regarding the photo… it’s not quite like I envisioned it but, of all the photos I shot, this is the better one. Meh…

Thanks. I’m going to give it another try, though; hopefully, it’ll come out better next time.

With more bad winter weather on its way, I may need to borrow this…

No problem, you can borrow two if you want.

Thanks, Juan! What don’t you like about the shot?

The light is fabulous! I will have a sip in my head (I don’t drink alcohol).

Thank you, Tracy and Kala. Sorry for the delayed reply, yesterday I didn’t have the chance to login until now.

    Tracy,

I don’t like the light source. I think it should’ve come more from the back than from the side. Also I think that the angle of the shot would have probably been better from above than from the front… I really want to try this again.

    Kala,

Let’s have an imaginary toast then :) To Spring!

Hmmm, you could be right and it is always good to experiment. The only way we learn. :-) I thought for a first attempt, this was really good!

    Thank you so much, Tracy!

I totally agree with you, by experimenting one can learn a great deal.

LOL, I totally know what you mean about shots not coming out right. My last few are a bit like that. Well it happens, great thing is I am paid for doing something else so I can keep shooting as I like and post them as I like.
