The Fountain

One of my first attempts at HDR. Although it has flaws, I really like this one.

Cool. I like it too. HDR B&W can be pretty cool. Just a pity the fountain is chopped off at the top… can you crop it bigger? (or clone the fountain shorter :-P )

Was it from a single RAW, or multiple shots?

    Thank you, guys.

    Jay,

I can’t crop it bigger because that’s the photo’s full size… and, unfortunately because of that, I can’t clone the fountain smaller either…

The original is a single RAW file; for this I had to export 3 .jpg files with different “pseudo” exposures values each (set in LR), et voilĂ .

But, you know what? I may go back to the Rose Garden and try this shot again. Next time, I’ll bracket the exposure, of course :D

I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a b&w hdr pic. That’s pretty much awesome!

I’m with Ari, I don’t remember seeing a monochrome HDR. Gorgeous!

That is a spectacular fountain scene! I really, really like this in B&W as it shows detail with the fountain… and that beautiful sky. I think you did a great job processing with HDR.
